Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Saskatchewan (USask) has decided to postpone this program until a later date to be determined. Program Cost:

CAD $3420 (includes $150 non-refundable application fee)

+ $200 refundable housing damage deposit (payable prior to or upon arrival)

* Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the start of the program

Improve your English language skills as you enjoy an immersive Canadian experience while gaining invaluable skills to solve our world's most complex environmental challenges.

If you are passionate about the environment and want to learn how you can make a difference - this is your opportunity!

Throughout this program, you will engage in guided tours and workshops presented by the University of Saskatchewan's School of Environment and Sustainability (SENS), receive English classes hosted by the Language Centre, and participate in cultural and social activities.

In addition to classroom hours and planned activities, the program fee includes:

  • accommodation in nearby student residence
  • three meals per day, plus a farewell luncheon
  • transportation, including airport pick-up and drop-off
  • health and accident insurance
  • access to textbooks, library, computer lab and WiFi

Refund policy

NO REFUNDS will be issued once program has started.

The University of Saskatchewan International Special Programs reserves the right to cancel a program when there is insufficient enrollment, in these cases a full refund will be issued.

Program fee is refundable less an Administration fee ($150) if Canadian authorities deny or delay the approval of the participant's application for a visa to enter Canada in time for this program.

Program fee is not refundable if a participant decides not to participate after the payment deadline.
