Eligibility: Open to entering students in any degree program at the University of Saskatchewan. To be eligible, students must:
  • Demonstrate financial need;
  • Submit a statement of no more than two pages detailing their community involvement and/or volunteerism; as well as what they plan to pursue with their program of study.
  • Have an entrance average of at least 70%
Preference may be given to students who plan to pursue programs that facilitate marketing, communications or journalism.
Selection criteria: Financial need and the merits of the submitted documents.
Donor: The Michael C. Sifton Memorial Scholarship Fund held in trust at the Saskatoon Community Foundation.
