ITEP Entrance Awards for Indigenous Students

Value: One annual award of $5,000 to a student based on academic achievement.
Two annual awards of $7,500 to students who do not have access to band funding, based on financial need.

Eligibility: Open to full-time Indigenous students entering ITEP Program for the first time at the University of Saskatchewan. To be eligible, students must:
  • demonstrate financial need;
  • have not received Band funding, and must provide documentation stating so;
  • have submitted required evidence of Indigenous citizenship/membership as a Metis, First Nations (status or non-status) or an Inuit person of Canada in their application to the ITEP program.
Selection criteria: Based on financial need and academic achievement.
