| Eligibility: | Applicants must be either: -A child or grandchild of a member of the affiliated producer coops: (Alberta Honey Producers CoOperative Limited, Manitoba Cooperative Honey Producers Limited) OR the child or grandchild of an employee of an affiliated cooperative or BeeMaid Honey. The applicant must not be a previous recipient of The Bee Maid Fiftieth Anniversary Scholarship and enrolled or applied for enrolment at an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada. OR -An individual applying to the Commercial Beekeeping Certificate Program at Fairview College in Grand Prairie, Alberta. |
| Selection criteria: | Each recipient will be selected on the basis of: -Academic achievement in the previous year. -Evidence of community involvement. -A 300-500 word essay on one of the topic questions provided on the application. |
